We Go Outside and Like It, ALOT!

Buttons and Blaze

The puppies have been going outside and doing 'their business' while out there. Pictures to prove it!

Cosmo

They follow the adult dogs all around and look like little rabbits, when they're running across the yard.  Although they're outside, they still manage to find each other and tumble and wrestle, as if they were in their pen.

Ginger with Holly and Oreo

When finished, they go to the door or follow the other dogs, when I call them.  Because there are so many things to check out and because all puppies get distracted, they don't 'exactly' come, when called, but they watch the other dogs.

We've been enjoying as much time outside, as the weather and time has allowed.

Blaze

A chilly weekend is expected, so we've been taking advantage of every moment!

We've had a 'special' visitor this week!  Their daddy has been here.  You would think that they knew who he was, because they have been all over him.  He is very good with them.

Walker

Holly and Blaze

Holly has gone in heat and she's being bred with Walker, as well.   Hopefully, we will have puppies, around the middle of March!  Time will tell...

Forgotten Update - All of the boys weighed 1.2, last week at the vet.  Ginger weighed 2.5 lbs.  All will be ready to go to their forever homes, on February 2nd!

Busy Week! Time Has Flown By!

THE PUPPIES COULDN'T BE BETTER!

One of my previous pet owners brought her daughter and my grandson, Winston, by on Friday.  It was Danielle's 8th birthday!

I was VERY happy to see Winston.  It took him a little while to recognize me again.  He had never met Trixie and Holly and was quite overwhelmed with the puppies, as well.

I hadn't seen him in a couple of years!  I specifically picked out this family, for him.  He was a couple of years old and needed more attention than I was able to give him.  He seems very happy and the family is THRILLED with him.  They said that he is the best dog ever and that I had described him, perfectly.
I enjoy seeing all of my previous puppies doing so well!
It was nice for the birthday girl to come and play with all of the puppies.  I'm not sure if the pups or the girls enjoyed it more!

We went to the vet, this week.  As soon as we got there, everyone behind the counter grabbed a puppy and carried them around until clients started coming in the door and the furry guys were then passed on (Only to the responsible patrons.) All of the pups enjoyed the affection.

BLAZE

Had the pups still been available, I believe that I could have placed them, all over again.  A couple of people got their faces licked!  My vet was laughing at the situation and I told her that I'd bring my next litter in, sooner than necessary, so that I could have a puppy sale.  (Not really.)
BUTTONS
They all received their (6) week vaccines and a vet check-ups.  They all passed 'with flying colors'.  No one cried but they were SCREAMING, in the car, on the way there!  I didn't realize that I would need ear plugs, for this adventure.  I guess it was the carrier.  I'm not sure.

COSMO, in Dad's arms

They were calm, all the way home.  Trixie wasn't happy that I had taken her puppies and had left her behind.  She doesn't mind leaving them but not the other way around.  I heard all about it, when I got home.

Following the puppies doing their 'business', I let them loose. The big dogs will play with them, for a while, and then they retreat, to the couch.

Play Time to Pooped Out!

BLAZE - Met Mom and Dad

Blaze's parents came to see and play with him, over the weekend.
He was on his BEST behavior.

Blaze played with his sister (Ginger), until she fell asleep.

His parents put him to sleep, before they left!

COSMO - MET and ADOPTED HIS PARENTS!

COSMO was as cute as ever and then went to sleep!

GINGER - STILL LOOKING for HER FOREVER HOME!

Ginger is beautiful!
Ginger had GREAT fun, playing with the visitors!

THANK YOU, to Blaze's parents, FOR THE WONDERFUL PICTURES!

FRISKY and ESCAPING, ALREADY!

I'm in BIG trouble!

These puppies are already too smart!

(Papillons are the 8th most intelligent dog!)

These puppies already know exactly where the gate opens and have managed to push their way out!  Usually, it takes another week or two, for that.

I woke up, one day and they had TOTALLY changed!

They were more alert, more active and ready to go!

These puppies seem more advanced, at everything.  They wanted to eat food, at an earlier age.  They wanted human interaction, sooner.  Wanted out of their crate and pen, sooner and are escaping yes, sooner!

Time for the bungee cords!

Now for the VERY good news, although I'm worried about putting it in writing...they get out of their 'new' dog bed and tinkle on the pad.  They then go back and get into the bed and go back to sleep!  Same thing, at night, in the crate!!!  CROSS YOUR FINGERS, that things KEEP going that way.  Of course, there are going to be accidents but...

They got VERY spoiled, yesterday!

One of the new owners came to see her puppy, for the first time.  We let all of the puppies out, one by one and took pictures.  We allowed them to run around a little and well...

Now, each time that they wake up, they want me to let them out.  When I let Trixie in or out, they all run out!

I took the puppies out of their crate, put them in their pen and let Trixie in with them, this morning.  I gave Trixie and the pups some food and she started nursing, so I left her there.  A few minutes later, my other dogs were making a racket and wouldn't stop. I went to let Trixie out and found that Ginger had escaped.  Trixie was still in the pen waiting for me.

Ginger - Trying to look ashamed.
A fellow breeder friend stopped breeding Papillons.  She said that they were too smart. (She has continued to breed Pomeranians.)

The grown dogs were trying to tell me that the pup had escaped.  They did this last week, when Blaze escaped, from the crate.  I had to repay them with a 'Reward', since they 'found' Ginger today and I had scolded them.

BACK to the new owner...After going back and forth and sending pictures back and forth, to her mother.  Her mother has decided that she preferred Buttons/Bamboo, over Cosmo. (Cosmo has been sulking ever since.  I'm trying to assure him that this is NOT like an orphanage and that he'd find the perfect 'forever' home, soon.)

I STILL think that YOU (you know who you are) should have taken (2) puppies.  It was YOUR idea!  You will be back to get one of Holly's puppies, in the spring.

Here's my 'NEW' puppy's mom and Walker is the dad!

I've got to get pictures of my OTHER puppy, from the other owner's dog.  I get 'pick of the litter'!  Yeah, I NEED another dog.  I made this 'deal' (2) years ago, when I let her adopt Iris but after all of this time, I never thought that it was going to come to fruition.

She's (4) days younger and smaller than Trixie's pups.  She's lighter Sable, like her mom, and has very little color on her body.  She has (2) sisters that look very similar.  They are available for adoption, as well!

Really need pictures!  Not only do I need to go visit but I  guess I've got to come up with a name.  I'll wait and see what her personality is like.  If I was going by color, maybe I'd call her Sandy.  That would NOT be her registered name!
